What is All In?

All In is our winter retreat for middle school and high school students.  All In is a small group focused weekend with great worship, a guest speaker delivering our messages, time together in small groups, and of course fun games throughout the entire church!!

When is All In?

All In starts February 17 at 7pm and we finish on Sunday February 19 at 11:45am.

Who is the weekend for?

This weekend is for middle school and high school students.  The weekend is geared to build amazing community in small groups!  If your student needs to be better connected, or is wanting to take their relationship with Jesus to the next level then All In is for them!

What if I can’t make the whole weekend?

If you have to leave for a few hours at some point during the weekend that’s ok! We have Time Away forms for you that you can fill out and bring back to us.  The price of the weekend remains the same.

What is included in the cost?

The cost of the event covers four meals (three on Saturday and one on Sunday), and the additional costs to setup the retreat such as guest speaker, worship band, games, and supplies.

Where will my student be staying?

Our students will be staying together with their small group in a host home.  Our host homes are McKinney members who have graciously opened up their homes.  The host homes will be providing meals, giving sleeping space for our groups, and helping with transportation to and from the church.

When will I know where my student is staying?

We will send all host home and small group leader details (location, contact info, etc) by the morning of Friday 2/17.  We will email to all parents that information.  The last day to signup for All In is Wednesday 2/15 and so we have to wait for final signups before finalizing host home details.  Also, when your student arrives you will receive a packet with all of this information.

What is the role of the small group leader?

Our small group leaders are the same leaders we have each and every Wednesday at the Bridge! These amazing leaders will be pouring into your student through the entire weekend.  They will be joining them in worship and teaching, playing games together, leading them in Christ centered discussions, staying with them in host homes, and helping to transport them between host homes and church.

Are there any additional costs?

When you signup you’ll have a chance to buy an All In shirt for $20!

Absolutely! You can email Stefanie Bunting (sbunting@mckinneychurch.com) for more info.  We would love to have some additional drivers on hand in case we need some, we would also love some additional help during our registration process, and we could always use extra hands serving our meals at the church! What topic are you covering during the weekend?

We will be talking about our identity in Christ! Our identity is such a huge part of our life and it drives so many of our decisions, our prayer is that our students rest in their identity in Christ, that they shake away the labels put on them and live in the truth found in Jesus.

What is the cost?

The cost of the retreat is $80, but there is an early registration bonus for signing up January which lowers the price to $65!  If the cost of the retreat is an issue we would love for you to fill out a scholarship application.  We don’t want money to be something that would prevent a student from attending All In.  If you’d like to sponsor a student going to All In please contact Nate Gustafson (ngustafson@mckinneychurch.com) and he will send you a link to our scholarship fund.
